Some people split between who is their favorite rapper.¬¨‚Ć Mine is Scarface.¬¨‚Ć Like I stated in the Geto Boys page, he was a standout.¬¨‚Ć I didn’t realize why until his first album, Mr. Scarface Is Back. I killed this album in college and his imagination in story-telling without getting TOO lyrical was amazing.¬¨‚Ć He somehow was able to paint a picture by describing things around him without too much concern with his flow pattern.¬¨‚Ć It was interesting how he’d pause in the middle of a rhyme and finally rhyme at the end with a few words.¬¨‚Ć But it all fit in perfectly in his baritone voice.¬¨‚Ć He’d wind up becoming a legend in the game by not only showing the hardcore side of himself but also the sensitive side without being soft.¬¨‚Ć That balance wasn’t easy to accomplish but came off so naturally to ‘Face.¬¨‚Ć I was influenced by that as well as his voice fluctuations when he’d story-tell or say something emotional.¬¨‚Ć He made you feel him even if you didn’t even know what he was saying.¬¨‚Ć Amazing!
