Most probably don’t know who the Conscious Daughters were. They were two women out of Oakland that spit hard as hell! But they usually always had a message in their music, hence their name. Oakland Rapper, Paris made the introduction for me. I took a chance and bought the album. Shit! I loved it. Too bad Special K died back in 2011. “Princess of Poetry” was my shit. And “Bring It To Ya” with Paris on his Guerilla Funk LP.
