I don’t know what happened in the last week but suddenly people have an interest in an old dance; the Harlem Shake.  But this time, they only use 30 seconds and split it up into two segments.  The first is a solo dancer in regular surroundings and suddenly in the second half when the beat drops, all hell breaks loose!  Haha!  Creative and pretty funny.  It’ll last about another week before something new comes along but for now, click the video!

This video explains something I’ve heard 11 years ago while hanging with rap artist, Canibus.  It also explains why artists should re-think when a label is interested in them…especially a major!  Indie labels will be much more flexible and going on tour will be your best bet to make money off of your talent investment.  So, the next time you see crazy expensive videos for a new breaking artist, realize they are probably broke and making someone behind the mask a lot of money in their slave labor.
