From December 2009 to November 2010, The Zodiac embarked on a mission to record one song per week for one year.  After completing this mission, he realized 4 CDs could be produced from the result.  Did he once think about selling them?  NO!  After a decade of weak rap music and the music industry’s involvement of including sub-par rappers who couldn’t string a proper sentence together without the words “swag”, “maybach”, “diamonds”, or “nigga”, The Zodiac wanted to give back…for free!

It’s been a long road starting at the end of November 2010 when The Zodiac decided to record one song for a year.  Producing almost every track alone except for four and featuring only one guest (Shauno), it became a mission but one that was a lot more fun and easier than he had thought the challenge would be.  Each song, recorded mostly on Sundays became personal and even when in Sweden on vacation, a song was recorded in his friend’s bedroom on the laptop.  Dedication.

Now that everything is almost complete, it’s time to donate to true hip-hop by making all 53 (52+1 remix) songs available. For FREE!  Starting on August 15, 2011, you’ll be able to download each Zetacide CD from The Zodiac site every 2 months ending on February 2012.  Score one for hip-hop!
